Canadian carrier showed update timeline to marshmallow for both the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow in May
The good news from the Korean manufacturer to the Samsung fans in the world. If you are a Samsung Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note 4 user on Telus, you'll be glad to know that the carrier has announced Marshmallow rollout dates for the devices. As always, the announcement came in the form of a revision to the company's software update schedule. As the information on the schedule, the Galaxy S5 will start getting the update on May 2, while the Note 4 will be getting it beginning May 16. In addition to Marshmallow, the update will also include monthly Android security patch. As always, these dates can change – Telus has already delayed the Android 6.0 update for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, and it’s possible the carrier could do it again. But it hopefully won’t, as May is already quite late considering Android N is already out in the wild.

Keep in mind that the dates mentioned in the update schedule are approximate and subject to change. However, the Canadian carrier has mostly stuck to the schedule in the past.
