In comparision with the duo Samsung Galaxy Tab A launched last year, this Tab A 2016 has not much change. The tablet looks thin and light, combining a sleek metal frame with a polycarbonate body
In addition, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) als reduces the screen size, from 9.7 and 8 inch to 7inch which makes users feel more compact. However, the thickness increases significantly, from 7.4 mm to 8.7 mm.
After a year launching the duo tablet Galaxy Tab A, recently, Samsung has continued to launch the Galaxy Tab A (2016). Like last year, the Korean manufacturer just quietly launched a new generation tablet via its official website, instead of organizing a big event.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016)
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) is rather modest and features a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Underneath the hood is a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz and 1.5GB of RAM. On-board storage is just 8GB and a microSD card slot and a wi-fi connectivity. However this tablet doesn’t come with a S-Pen.
Samsung said the Galaxy Tab A (2016) will be priced at $189. It is much cheaper than the duo tablets which were launched last year each. The reason for the cheap price is that Samsung wants to target the common users.

The camera consists of a 5MP main camera in the back and a 2MP front camera for selfie. The Galaxy Tab A runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with an all new Kinds Mode by Samsung and is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. The slate will apparently come only in black and white color options.
